Come join us to help transform Main Street into a bright and colorful street museum, adorned in vivid pastel chalks. Artists of all ages are invited to transform this asphalt canvas into a beautiful masterpiece on the first Friday of the Festival. This is a FREE signature event and chalk will be provided.
A night of beach music, food, and fun! Bring family and friends to enjoy the music on the Founders Federal Credit Union Stage. Beach Bash features a live performance by Gary Lowder and the Smokin’ Hot! Food trucks and local restaurants will be onsite. To purchase alcoholic beverages, you must show a valid ID. Come out to the Velodrome to ride bikes. We’ll have balance bikes for younger kids, face painting, sports themed inflatables, healthy snacks and so much more! Kids are welcome to bring their own bike and helmet or they can use one of ours! The first 500 kids will receive Healthy Kids Goody Bags full of sponsor gifts. The Come-See-Me Cornhole Throwdown is always a day of fun competition. Check-in is from 9:30-10:15 with a quick meeting at 10:15. Bags fly at 10:30. Teams will be divided into 3 Tiers at the completion of rounders. A single-elimination tournament for each tier will follow rounders. Bring your own Partner and Bags. We will have bags available if needed. Register online at Eventbrite. $50 entry fee per team in advance, $60 entry fee per team day-of. The deadline to register online is Thursday, April 16, 2026. Day-of registration will be open, but limited. Entry fees are non-refundable, and entries are non-transferable. Male, female, and co-ed teams are allowed. All ACL rules will apply to this tournament. Round Robin Tournament Format with seeding determined at random will place each team into a division. Parking is not allowed on the field. Please park at the stadium. Need to know: *Ice cream available for purchase *Storytime with Mother Goose *No pets, please Make your way to beautiful Glencairn Garden for an afternoon of ice cream with Glen the Frog and Mother Goose! Ice cream is $5 per cup from 2 pm until supplies run out. Mother Goose will share her stories on stage at 2:30 and 3:30. Remember to bring your camera to snap pictures with Glen, Mother Goose, and your favorite local mascots. Face painting, balloon twisting, and kids activities are free. Cancelled in the event of rain.

As always, there will be live entertainment from 3:30-9 pm on the Founders Federal Credit Union Stage, then our annual Fireworks show to close out the night. Make sure you get there in time to purchase some barbecue (we’ll sell till it runs out)! CASHLESS PARKING & ENTRY. Each vehicle that parks in the Winthrop Coliseum lot is required to purchase parking for each event attended. Admission is required for each person 21 and older for each event attended. Event admission is free for 20 and under for Moonlight Jazz & Blues and the Tailgate Party.
