Community celebrates standout small businesses across Rock Hill in the 2025 awards program
Dec. 9, 2025, Rock Hill, South Carolina – Rock Hill Connection announced that 89 small businesses and local leaders have been recognized with Rock Hill Business Excellence Awards following the conclusion of the 2nd annual community voting program. The monthlong event, which ran throughout November 2025, drew participation from more than 350 voters and 95 business owners, marking a 26.9 percent owner-participation rate.

The awards highlight service providers, storefronts, creators, and neighborhood organizations that demonstrated exceptional impact in Rock Hill. Categories ranged from food and beverage to home services, professional services, and retail.

The program, designed to elevate visibility for local operators, emphasizes community-based recognition rather than sponsorship-driven placements. Business owners were encouraged to engage their customers, share their stories, and highlight the value they bring to neighborhoods across York County.
Rock Hill Connection plans to continue expanding the awards program in 2026 to further support local entrepreneurship and create deeper opportunities for community engagement.
