Winthrop Jazz Band joins DOWNTOWN JAZZ JAM
The Winthrop University Swingin' Eagles Jazz Ensemble will join DOWNTOWN JAZZ JAM for our Sunday April 12 event from 6-8 pm at Slow Play Brewing in Rock Hill. The band, directed by Dr. Noah Bruening, will kick off the jam session playing about 30 minutes. After that, other musicians can join in the fun. It's free to attend and/or play. Food and drink are available for purchase. Hope to see you there! Those under 21 years old should attend with an adult.

A free chalk drawing event for all ages. Express yourself or enjoy others' creations! Need to know: *Chalk is provided *All ages welcome *Free event! Looking for a unique way to express yourself? Come join us to help transform Main Street into a bright and colorful street museum, adorned in vivid pastel chalks. Artists of all ages are invited to transform this asphalt canvas into a beautiful masterpiece on the first Friday of the Festival. This is a FREE signature event and chalk will be provided.

Come See Me Road Races
DON'T MISS THE 48th ANNUAL COME SEE ME ROAD RACES THIS YEAR - FAST COURSE, AWESOME MEDAL AND FUN RACE EXPERIENCE!!!!! Register now while shirt supplies last!! The First 600 participants to register will receive a 5K/10K medal!! Fun Run (7:30am) – Approximately 1 mile run around Winthrop Lake. No pets are allowed however strollers are allowed. FREE, registration preferred but not required. Fun Run participants, 12 and under, will receive a customized participant medal. 5K and 10K (8:00am) – USATF-certified 5K (3.1 mile) course and USATF-certified 10K (6.2 mile) are on paved streets and bike paths passing through beautiful residential areas. No pets are allowed however strollers are allowed. Water stop at 1.5 mile mark in the 5K race and mile 2 and mile 4 in the 10K race. Refreshments and snacks available for all participants. *All participants must be off the course by 9:30. Walkers are encouraged to participate in the 5K or must walk the 10K under a 13 minute pace.

The Anne Springs Close Greenway℠ preserves its 2,100 acres to provide accessible outdoor recreation opportunities to visitors and members. Come try our most popular recreational pastimes, such as kayaking, archery, horseback riding, hiking and more during our favorite weekend of the year, Earth Day Celebration! Everyone receives free entrance to the Greenway on Earth Day Weekend to enjoy time in nature.
Come-See-Me Cornhole Throwdown
The Come-See-Me Cornhole Throwdown is always a day of fun competition. Check-in is from 9:30-10:15 with a quick meeting at 10:15. Bags fly at 10:30. Teams will be divided into 3 Tiers at the completion of rounders. A single-elimination tournament for each tier will follow rounders. Bring your own Partner and Bags. We will have bags available if needed. Register online at Eventbrite. $50 entry fee per team in advance, $60 entry fee per team day-of. The deadline to register online is Thursday, April 16, 2026. Day-of registration will be open, but limited. Entry fees are non-refundable, and entries are non-transferable. Male, female, and co-ed teams are allowed. All ACL rules will apply to this tournament. Round Robin Tournament Format with seeding determined at random will place each team into a division. Parking is not allowed on the field. Please park at the stadium. Baby Goat Yoga at The Pour Market
We will be on the grassy open field at The Pour Market . We will host 45minutes to 1 hr of beginner level yoga with our baby goats. They love yoga because every participant is a playground to jump on or comfy arms to take a nap in. After yoga we will have picture time where we will help you in various yoga positions with goats on top, group pictures or just more snuggle time. We will have many new babies to hold and snuggle.
